Mostly because of my brother in law, who learned before I did, I have taught myself to crochet. Previously, I was very good at making "chains" and that was about it, but now I am in the process of making a blanket. (Hey, if you're going to start a new project, it might as well be a huge one.) Anyway, after I started crocheting, I realized that I haven't been doing nearly enough right-brain stuff lately, because I went all hogwild on the crafty stuff. Besides my blanket, I'm working on painting candlesticks, doll furniture, and Christmas tree ornaments, decorating little foam gingerbread people for my Christmas decorations, jazzing up the stockings that I bought last year for me and Jamie, making pomanders for Christmas presents, and cutting paper snowflakes to hang from my living room ceiling so it looks like a snowstorm. :) I also found some really cute penguin flannel, so I think I'm going to buy some so I can make PJs. I have an addiction to JoAnn Fabric and Michaels. :)
Otherwise, my life is very much same old, same old... School, work, school, work, school... Kinda feels like I do the same thing every day. :)
